Rachel loves boxing

Rachel Stevens says her post-baby regime has left her with a “good punch”. The 32-year-old former S Club 7 singer gave birth to a baby girl called Amelie in November last year, her first child with husband Alex Bourne. Rachel says she works out three times a week and partakes in boxing sessions to maintain her gorgeous curves.
The stunning star has revealed that since the birth, her post-baby work-out routine has left her with some worthwhile fighting techniques. “I’ve got a good punch now!” she confessed to Closer magazine. The brunette beauty says that motherhood has left her so busy, she barely has time to cook herself meals. Rachel joked that having her daughter is the best diet around. “You don’t get time to eat when you have a baby, it’s an amazing diet!” she laughed.

Very unlikely in my opinion.
CELEBRITY Big Brother fans are going to be in S Club heaven if Rachel Stevens joins the show. Rachel Stevens is in advanced talks about appearing on Channel 5’s new series this summer. Producers have targeted the star, 33, because they think she will add “the sex factor’’ to the line-up.
Rachel is always in demand and has also been touted as a new judge for X Factor to take over from Dannii Minogue, 39. A Big Brother source said: “Rachel is on our hitlist. She still oozes sex appeal.”
This is not the first time Rachel, who has a six-month-old daughter Amelie, has been linked to the spy-on-the-wall show. In 2005 her former boyfriend and Holby actor Jeremy Edwards, 40, appeared on Celebrity Big Brother and there was talk about sending her in as a surprise newcomer but the plan never went ahead.

Rachel: The last message I got was from my trainer reminding me of our boxing session tomorrow.

R: My celeb crush growing up was Joey from Blossom and Michael J Fox!

R: My biggest fashion faux pas was my perm. Oh, and an all-in-one silk suit which I thought was very cool!
G: Last lie you told?
R: The last lie I told was to Alex. My top that I had just bought was a lot more expensive than it really was. What a cliché!
G: Put your iPod on shuffle. Write down the first song that comes up.
R: The first song that comes up on my iPod is Trouble by Ray LaMontagne.

R: I would say, sensitive, impatient and passionate.
G: If you could eat anything in the world right now, what would it be?
R: If I could eat anything now it would be sushi or lobster
G: If you could stay anywhere in the world, where would you go?
R: If I could stay anywhere I would probably go back to the New Forest. We all just got home from a little break there. We stayed at a luxury hotel and spa called Chewton Glen. We had such a lovely time, great food, very relaxing treatments and lovely country walks with Alex and Amelie. I could definitely go back there for a few days!
G: Tell us one thing about yourself that no one knows?
R: One thing that no one knows about me is that I still wear a brace on my teeth.
G: What's the last book you read?
R: The last book i read was the Secrets of the Baby Whisperer.

As Alesha Dixon is ruled out, could Rachel Stevens be the new X Factor judge?
With Alesha Dixon being ruled out of The X Factor today we wonder who can replace her - and the latest name to be linked to the show is S Club star Rachel Stevens. The pop beauty, who's solo career failed to take off in the early 00s, said she'd love to the do the show.
"I’d love to do it! I’m always sitting at home with Alex and you get so judgmental, don’t you?" Rachel said last year. "I love the shows [Britain's Got Talent and The X Factor]. I love curling up on the sofa with a cup of tea and watching them, it’s brilliant."
The singer however ruled out competing on any reality shows anymore since finishing on Strictly Come Dancing in 2008. "I wouldn’t fancy appearing on any other reality TV show other than Strictly," she said.
"I think Strictly for me came round at the perfect time and it was brilliant, but now there’s so many things I want to do that that’s not the direction I’d go in."

Rachel Stevens is going for gold

Bit of a misleading headline, that. Rachel Stevens isn't competing in the 2012 Olympics (although having a 100m Sexiness would make us tune in, maybe, we're just saying) nor is she participating on 90's quiz show Going For Gold hosted by Henry Kelly. Or the disastorous remake in 2008 hosted by that Poirot bloke. Instead, lovely Rachel Stevens was wearing a golden dress. What? Okay, it was a dress that was the colour of gold. It wasn't actually made of gold, because that would be far too expensive and also, we'd imagine, dreadfully uncomfortable despite gold being one of the most malleable metals. It was just a normal golden dress like you'd buy at a golden dress shop.
God, you're picky today. We're sorry we tried to put a bit of flair in our headlines. Don't worry, we'll be back to normal soon. Rachel Stevens, then, was at the Sony Radio academy awards where she was wearing said fancy dress, which is great. We don't think she won an award, though. She's not on the radio or anything.
We've not seen her around here recently, if you don't count a brief stint as official Orange cinema mascot (that is, she was the mascot for the phone company's cinema promotions, not that she was an actual orange). Apparently she's been having a baby or some other such nonsense. Which is fine, we guess. Come back, Rachel. We miss you. We've barely seen you in ages and the tape recordings of Strictly Come Dancing are starting to get scratchy and worn from all the pausing and rewinding.

You can take the girl out of the pop troupe but you can’t stop her performing dance routines. Rachel Stevens says she sends her six-month-old daughter Amelie to sleep with co-ordinated disco efforts with husband Alex Bourne.
The former S Club 7 member, 33, told us at the Sony’s: "I sing to her all the time and me and Alex do little dance routines for her." But catchy pop hits are not her style, says Rachel. "Amelie loves classical music, she’s very cultured." She adds that she’s keen to add another to the brood.
"I’d love to. I’m going to enjoy Amelie for a bit longer but we’d like a brother and sister in time. "Plus I want to get out there with music again, I can feel my creative juices flowing."

She was visiting a favourite celebrity haunt, where there are always bound to be photographers, so Rachel Stevens ensured she looked her best. The singer was spotted at Primrose Hill today with baby Amelie and husband Alex Bourne in a pair of on-trend bright red jeans. The trousers are a favourite of Rachel's, who was also pictured running errands in the eye-catching trend last week.
Rachel, 33, wore a classic striped jumper and beige ballet flats with the jeans, adding a cropped mac to the ensemble when it became chilly. The family joined the crowds of Londoners and tourists taking advantage of the warm Sunday afternoon at the famous spot. The park is a favourite of Pixie Geldof, Katie Waissel and Sadie Frost, and visitors Gwen Stefani, husband Gavin Rossdale and their children have been a fixture there all week.
Rachel pushed baby Amelie, who was born on November 16, in her pram as they strolled through the park. The former S Club star is following in the footsteps of Cheryl Cole, Sarah Jessica Parker and Khloe Kardashian in wearing the colour-block trend. Trousers of every colour have popped up in high street stores after J Brand's £205 Colour Pop jean became an instant celebrity must-have.

The British Heart Foundation has teamed up with celebrities Rachel Stevens, Erin O'Connor, Laura Bailey, Marie Helvin, Portia Freeman, Toby Stephens, Harry Gilliam and Zara Martin to promote its Tunnel of Love fundraiser. The event, which takes place in London on May 17, sees designer garments, accessories and artwork auctioned off, with proceeds donated to the charity's Mending Broken Hearts Appeal. The stars have been photographed modelling some of the garments in a series of images taken by Vogue UK Creative Director Robin Derrick. They appear in the official auction catalogue and are being rolled out to the press in the lead up to the event, kicking off with Rachel Stevens who is pictured wearing an Alice Temperley studded vest. Tickets to the event are available on the BHF website.
