CHRISTMAS MESSAGE 2004

Just tell me where to go we'll be in privacy

Hi there, What an amazing year it's been for Ms Stevens and all her fans! Take a trip down memory lane with us as we celebrate the Rachel-related highlights of 2004…

Spring

After the massive success of her debut smash 'Sweet Dreams (My LA-Ex)', Rachel had plenty to look forward to at the start of the New Year with a nomination for Best British Single at the BRIT Awards. And not content with ruling our airwaves, she proved she's a dab hand on the big screen too with an appearance in British Rom-com, Suzie Gold. Rachel appeared alongside Hollywood starlet Summer Phoenix, playing what she described as "a stroppy diva"!

Summer

Rachel's solo career went form strength to strength as she recorded a fab version of the glitterball-friendly classic, 'Knock On Wood' for the Discomania album and reissued debut album, Funky Dory, complete with a whole bunch of exciting new additions. Rachel also did us proud by not only running in the Fitness First Sport Relief Mile, but by also recording the charity's official single, the superb Richard X collaboration, 'Some Girls', all of which helped Sport Relief to raise a huge £11 million.

Autumn

Rachel proved she's a winner by beating off stiff competition from the likes of Jamelia and Girls Aloud to scoop the Best Female gong at the Disney Kids Awards. And her disco-tinged take on the 70's hit 'More More More' not only notched her up another huge hit but was also chosen as the theme song for Sky's coverage of the 2004-05 Premiership season.

Winter

Rachel was confirmed as one of the UK's hottest stars when she took home both the Best Dressed Female and Most Fanciable Female awards at this year's Smash Hits Poll Winners' Party. She also came second in the v. prestigious Best Solo Artist category, being beaten only by the mighty Usher! Also in 2004: Rachel graced the covers of top mags Glamour and GQ (in Versace no less!), had her song 'Fools' featured on the soundtrack of Hollywood movie, The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, presented an award at last week's Pride of Britain Awards, and performed 'Some Girls' at the Olympic Torch Concert. Phew! So congrats to Rachel on an absolutely fabulous 2004 and thanks to all of you for making it happen. Says Rachel, "I'm so lucky to have such great support from my fans. Thanks so much to you all and lots of love and best wishes for a brilliant Christmas and New Year."

See you in 2005!
